Barony Castle

It was summer 2009.

We were on route to the Scottish Highlands and we stopped here for the night to rest. The castle is situated in the countryside of Peebles, away from the hustle bustle of a town. I don't think we would have found it without the help of our SatNav.

The room was large, with an extra single bed. I supposed it was originally for course participants accommodation. We didn't mind a bit. We always welcome an extra bed!

There was a tea room facing the garden. Quite nice.

But honestly, we cannot comment much because we did not fully utilize the hotel. It has an indoor pool, a mini-gym and spa. We cannot comment on these.

Family friendly?...hmmm...i think family is not their target group.
Wheelchair/ buggy friendly?...Yes
Do I wish to come again?...errr..I don't know. It was our pit stop, and for that it was excellent. We did not explore around.
Will I recommend to friends?...Maybe.
